It appears we've come full circle
on this rainy afternoon
I knew, the moment I looked at you today
that you were really there
and when you smiled
I saw something from the past
something I loved
Perhaps it's wishful thinking
or you're just being nice
but at least for just one second
there was something in your eyes
So now we've come full circle
the beginning in the end
and when I lose you once again
our circle will have turned once more
So when you're laying on the beach
drawing circles in the sand
a thousand miles away there's me
wondering who's holding your hand

Today someone said, "We've come full circle" and it gave me the idea for this little piece. Lots of things have been coming full circle lately though, it's odd how that all happens when you're graduating.
